Overview

Hacktoberfest 2021 with IEEE-VIT 🧡

This is a expense tracker iOS application built using swift. Users can track their expense and visualise it.

Support open source software by participating in Hacktoberfest and get goodies and a free t-shirt! 🧡

Getting Started

  • Fork it.

  • Clone your forked repo and move inside it:

git clone https://github.com/IEEE-VIT/Xpendi.git && cd Xpendi

  • Checkout to a new branch to work on an issue:

git checkout -b my-amazing-feature

  • Running the project

open the project in Xcode and run!
Shortcut: (⌘ + R)

  • Once you're all done coding, it's time to open a PR :) Run the following commands from the root of the project directory:

git add .

git commit -m "A short description about the feature."

git push origin <my-amazing-feature>

Open your forked repo in your browser and then raise a PR to the master branch of this repository!

    Add app icons to Shared/Assets/Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.iconset for different devices using the correct dimensions.

    Tasks to be followed in order:

    • [ ] go to this website. Under "Upload your image to resize icon", click on the Choose file button. Navigate to the root folder of the project (the folder that has the xcodeproj). From there, navigate to Shared/Assets/Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.iconset. Select xpendi.png to upload.
    • [ ] Skip through the name, category and keyword popups. Enter your email and click on the green download button.
    • [ ] Go to your email and download the zip file.
    • [ ] Follow the instructions here to import the assets into the project in the correct manner

    .toolbar only works when we have view included in NavigationView. so its not working on iOS and cant see the buttons. I have added the NavigationView And it looks like below now.

    I need this change so #10 can be done

    Currently, the app icon in Shared/Assets.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset is of svg format. It needs to be converted to png.

    • [ ] convert icon to png using https://makeappicon.com
