About This Project
Technology overload while at work and at home causes serious over exposure to blue light and more stress to posture. Over and above using technology at work, 90% of Americans report using a device within one hour of going to bed. 83% of professional workers check their emails after work, 66% take their technology with them on vacation, and more than 50% report sending emails while having a meal with family or friends.
Looking closer at what eye strain does to the body, we see the ramifications are widespread. If you are one of the 70% suffering from eye strain, then you probably have been dealing with it for a long time. Consider how long you are using your devices.
In our application we aim to deliver an all-in-one solution to help your retinal health. We developed eye-exercises using AR-Kit that can be completed in an Augmented Reality environment, so you move your eyes, not your head. We also provide realtime distance and blinking detection using CoreML to ensure that you’re not staring too hard at your screen, and we’ll remind you if we detect something unhealthy.

How It Works
Utilizes open source Apache File reader APIs and object construction to perform the necessary file conversions. Uses those scanners to Stream read every file and perform necessary object construction / conversion. Custom API docs for this software's usage will be released in the future. Note : This software is not a product of Apache software foundation.

Why we built this project
According to The Vision Council 70% of US adults in one survey reported having some kind of digital eye strain (strained, dry, or red eyes; blurred vision; headaches; back pain; neck pain; or general fatigue) as a result of using digital devices for hours at a time(2). We wanted to help people prevent this eye strain altogether and minimize its effects by using an all-in-one solution for keeping your eyes healthy while using a screen.
